Embering is about the slow burn — the kind of change that doesn’t shout, but simmers in the stories we carry, the systems we challenge, and the futures we dare to imagine. It’s where the sparks of awareness are kindled, the fires of identity are tended, and collective action is ignited — not from a place of performance, but from purpose.
Each Yarn-Up will share teachings, provocations, practices, and possibilities to help you lead with integrity, walk with others, and build a world where every individual is seen, celebrated, and safe to thrive.

Whether it’s shifting a conversation, reshaping a policy, or simply choosing to lead differently, your actions matter.
This is how systems change — not all at once, but spark by spark. Keep walking. Keep tending. Keep igniting.

Whose stories do we centre — and whose are we still leaving at the edge?
How do our everyday habits include or exclude Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples?
What does cultural safety look like in this space — and who gets to define it?
What have I learned — and what am I now responsible for unlearning or shifting?
Where can I use my role, voice, or privilege to clear space for others?
How might I walk with, not ahead of, community in the changes I make?
What’s one small act of integrity I can commit to this week?

Every fire begins with a single spark — but it’s what we do after that matters most.
