This A3 visual framework names five common types of Indigenous allyship — Friendly Appreciator, Anxious Invalidator, Accomplice, Co-Resistor, and Sponsor — and explores how people often move between these roles depending on context, comfort, and courage.
Rather than shaming or labelling, this resource offers language, clarity, and reflection. It helps individuals and organisations recognise where allyship becomes performative, avoidant, or extractive — and where it begins to shift toward shared risk, responsibility, and Indigenous-led change.
